It all started in 1997 as a weekly Bible study with 20 people who met in an apartment clubhouse. Fast forward almost 30 years, and through God’s grace and faithful provision, we’ve grown to a 3,000-person congregation with a beautiful, 43-acre campus nestled against the Smoky Mountains.

Through all of the change and growth, the heart of Calvary Knoxville has remained the same: to reach people for Christ and pursue Him together.

We’re A Nondenominational Church Committed To Sharing The Gospel In Its Entirety And Creating Disciples For His Glory.

A member of the Calvary Chapel Association, we firmly believe in the inerrant word of God as our firm foundation and guide to daily actions as disciples of Jesus Christ. We encourage visitors to “come as you are” to experience the life-changing love and hope of Christ. Just as Christ meets us exactly where we’re at, we will welcome you with open arms to learn and grow alongside the Calvary Knoxville church family.
